This reel is exactly like the one in The Mitchell Collectors Reference Guide on page 102 except it has plan-O-matic gearing. I suspect that it is a transitional piece between the first and second editions of Browning's 306A. Probably 1981. Since I have two of these reels exactly alike, I think it unlikely that both of the reels had their Cross Wind cams replaced with Plan-O-Matic gears.
